Tabu magazine: Receptivity to gay propaganda

Gay propaganda is an interesting phenomenon, especially in Eastern Europe. In Romania, homosexuals’ community is not too popular, especially among the male audience. Last gay parade end up with street fights.

A receptivity example that came yesterday into my mind is how Tabu women magazine transmitted gay propaganda this summer. They simply used a proper context and addressed to a more receptive audience to gay communications: its daring magazine and its female readers.

What did they do? First, Tabu team joined 2006 parade’s participants and later on they offered “Brokeback Mountain” book together with the magazine.

A simple and effective receptivity-based strategy.
